In a surprise ceremony held during the Faculty Retreat, Dr. Ahmed Naumaan, Dean of the School of Information Systems and Technology, was inducted into KU’s chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) as its first honorary member. The organization is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society. Dr. Naumaan was inducted by Frank Gatlin, chapter president and KU student, and Glen Jenewein, IT Professor and Faculty Advisor for ACM.

To all of the IT students who are interested in being a part of this elite organization, please remember to use your school email address when you sign up to be a member of the KUACM (i.e. Name@student.kaplan.edu).
