First, Congratulations to all of the graduating class of winter 2010! I had a wonderful time getting to meet all of you I could, and taking part in your celebration. I was honored to be there with you.

General Colin Powell lead an interesting and engaging commencement for the graduating students this morning at the Hyatt Hotel in Miami FL. Gen. Powell spoke about some of his personal experiences pursuing higher education while serving in the United States Military. Gen. Powell also spoke about the power of the Internet, and how Kaplan University has harnessed the power of the Internet to offer those who may not have a means or opportunity to attend traditional higher education a chance to pursue their personal academic goals.


Some key points I wish you would all remember:
