Student Spotlight

KUACM is proud to recognize Sherrie Allen as our March KUACM Student Spotlight member.

Hi. My name is Sherrie Allen and I am from Bellevue, Nebraska but in the process of moving to Owosso, Michigan, to live with my grandmother. I grew up in Owosso so you could say I am going back home. I am currently working on my Bachelors in Information Systems and Technology. I am not sure if I will continue my education and work on my Masters Degree but I have been thinking about it. My GPA is 2.71 but I am working on getting it back up to a 4.0, which was what it was my first term at Kaplan. I will be graduating with my Bachelors degree in 2012. My career goal is to either be involved in technical support or a help desk position.

I have just recently joined ACM and have loved the club so far. I am involved as an operator in the Help Desk project and eventually will be helping with the Help Desk Committee. I am very excited about being involved with ACM and I look forward to getting more involved with the club.
